Eligibility Criteria and Method of Selection

Eligible youth include individuals, ages 18 through 27, who are unemployed and have passion for the craft and business of footwear making. Other eligibility criteria includes:
• Residents of Lagos State, youths living on lagos mainland axis. The ones living close to our institution in Magodo phase 2 are more eligible
• Must be able to show proof of commitment
•Under priviledged youths. Youths that obviously can not afford the training cost

Application Stages

Every diet of the empowerment program shall be in 3 stages. 

Stage One: Application stage >>>

Application for the program will be open on our website 6 weeks before the beginning of every diet. This stage will last for 2 weeks, it involves filling and
submission of application form. The application limit is 100. Questions in the application form shall include: Name, Age, Marital status, Address,
Educational qualification, State of Origin, why shoemaking, guarantors information, willingness to commit, phone number, email address, other social media handles, How did you hear about the program?

Stage Two: Assesment Stage >>>

This will last for one week. This is the stage where we rigorously assess the applications and select the top 20 based on our selection criteria.

Stage Three: Interview and final selection

Physical interview will be carried out on the 20 selected youths from the assessment stage and final 4 students will eventually be selected for the empowerment program for the first diet. This process will last for 1 week.
